OpenAI chief executive Sam Altman has rejected a $97.4 billion takeover offer from a consortium of investors led by Tesla and SpaceX founder Elon Musk. ChatGPT owner OpenAI is “not for sale,” according to Altman. He and Musk were among the initial co-founders of the AI company, but a public falling out led to Musk’s departure.
