Strategy (MSTR) Climbs as BTC Holdings Appreciate $3.9B

Michael Saylor’s Strategy (MSTR) saw its stock climb on Monday amid an ongoing Bitcoin BTC rally. The cryptocurrency hit $125,000 for the first time on Sunday, and is trading at $124,000 today, leading a crypto market rally. Crypto-based US stocks are all rising on today’s market, with MSTR being one of the most recognizable due to its large BTC holdings and investments. Although it’s paused on the latter this week, the company announced an unrealized gain of $3.89 billion on its digital assets in Q3 2025, along with a deferred tax expense of $1.12 billion. Strategy has more than $74 billion in bitcoin and more than $27 billion in unrealized gains. Last week, the company also rose by over $8B in market capitalization. The US Treasury and IRS waived the company of a multi-billion dollar tax bill on its BTC holdings, which saved the company billions in potential tax liabilities. White House Official Dubs Bitcoin "Digital Gold," Wants to buy More
