BlackRock’s IBIT nears $20 billion in assets as Bitcoin eyes new ATH

BlackRock’s spot Bitcoin ETF (IBIT) is near $20 billion in assets, currently in top 3% among all ETFs. IBIT and FBTC have recorded 59 days of inflows – a streak that puts the two among top 20 ETFs. Meanwhile, Bitcoin price could hit a new all-time high amid spot ETF and halving sentiment. BlackRock’s spot Bitcoin ETF (IBIT) continues to outshine peers as inflows surge. Data also shows that IBIT is not just in the top 20 in terms of longest consecutive streak of inflows, but its also climbing the ranks for total asset s. SGKB announces partnership with SEBA Bank to offer digital asset custody, brokerage services

According to a Nov. 2 post on X, SEBA Bank has announced a new partnership with St. Galler Kantonalbank (SGKB) to offer users the chance to buy and trade cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ether. SGKB is the fifth largest bank, with 35 branches in the eastern part of Switzerland. A major milestone As part of the announce ment, the bank states that the initial group of clients to be served will consist of the bank’s wealth management customers, followed by retail customers and alongside plans to introduce additional coins and staking services . FTX debtors and UCC clash over asset control in restructuring

FTX strongly criticized the UCC's pursuit of asset control, as it recommended that debtors allocate nearly $2.6 billion from cash reserves into short-term Treasuries. FTX debtors led by chief restructuring officer John J. Ray III have expressed disapproval of traders and market makers within the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors (UCC) who are aiming to gain authority over assets. They believe the UCC’s plan to invest nearly $2.6 billion in cash reserves in short-term Treasuries is a bad idea amid FTX 2.0 draft restructuring plan. In a court filing dated August 9, FTX issued a response to the UCC's commentary regarding the reorganization and term sheet proposal. FTX strongly criticized the UCC's pursuit of asset control , particularly as it recommended that debtors allocate nearly $2.6 billion from cash reserves into short-term Treasuries, aiming to cover professional fees amounting to as much as $330 million.
