U.S. CFTC to aggressively pursue crypto exchanges that violate trading laws

U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) Commissioner Christy Goldsmith Romero said the regulator will continue to pursue cryptocurrency exchange s that break the law. In a statement quoted by Business Insider, the commissioner emphasized that “there are no pirate ships in US markets” and that “access to American customers is a privilege, not a right.” Romero added that the CFTC will not tolerate the use of virtual private networks (VPNs) and other services that help users circumvent know your customer (KYC) rules, including pop-up questions that simply ask users to confirm that they are not located in the United States. “It should be crystal clear that the CFTC will not stop in its pursuit of non-U.S. entities.” Caroline D. $1.2 billion worth of Bitcoin sent to exchanges in a month

Bitcoin (BTC) experienced a bull run in the last month , up more than 30% since October 15. This created an opportunity for investors, traders, and Bitcoin miners to realize profit by selling their coins. In the meantime, centralized exchange BTC reserves increased by approximately $1.2 billion worth of the leading cryptocurrency. Notably, exchange reserves registered an increase of 34,315 BTC from October 20 to November 14, according to a Glassnode chart shared by Ali Martinez on X. Reserves dropped to around 2.32 million BTC, the lowest in the chart, bouncing up to more than 2.35 million BTC at its highs. Bitget currently has a Martingale AI trading bot and a Grid Trading AI bot on its platform. On July 11, cryptocurrency exchange Bitget launched an AI-powered feature for its Grid Trading strategies , or the use of trading algorithms to automate transactions for users. In an interview with Cointelegraph, Bitget developers stated: "Compared with manually creating strategies by filling in obscure and complex strategy parameters, AI strategies can help users choose and create strategies more intuitively through a simple number (strategy rate of return) and a simple graph (yield curve), eliminating the need to fill in complex variables." In its AI Grid Trading Bot, users are only required to fill in the desired strategy and input the investment amount.
